Hightlights from the first Indonesia Future of Climate Summit (IFCS) 2023

IT HAPPENED! Fairatmos with Paloma Sjahrir Foundation and Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) hosted the FIRST Climate Technology Conference in Indonesia: Indonesia Future of Climate Summit 2023 (IFCS). With over 1800 registrants, it was a full house! It was a humbling experience to get to learn from all the amazing speakers and panelist.

We are honored to have Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan, with Vice Minister Alue Dohong, Ph.D affirming the need for Fairatmos to speed up NDC achievement. It was such a reinvigorating speech to all climate players in Indonesia!

I am personally honored to moderate a power panel with Pandu Sjahrir as the Board Member of Indonesia Stock Exchange that will host the first Carbon Exchange trade this coming September, Anindya Novyan Bakrie chairman of VKTR as the first publicly listed heavy vehicle EV that is such an aspiration to sustainable enterprises alike, the Father of integrity Carbon Offset in Indonesia Dharsono Hartono, the pioneer of NBS in PT Pertamina (Persero) Fadli Rahman, and Arianne Santoso from Google Indonesia to talk about the role of technology in ensuring quality carbon offset projects.

We are also honored to have Pak Joko Tri Haryanto Executive Director of BPDLH Kemenkeu, Stefanus Ade Hadiwidjaja Chief Investment Officer of Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), Triharyo Soesilo from Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) , Ratri Sryantoro Wakeling from Pollination, Lesly Goh from The World Bank, Widharmika Agung from Systemiq Ltd., Tanah Sullivan from GoTo Group, Triana Krisandini from TBS, Lauren Blasco AC Ventures, Marianne Rumantir TS Media to share their views on the panel. We are glad to be welcomed by Planet among other Climate Tech infra & enablers companies at the booth fair as well. All of this happened with the continuous support from Ratna Kartadjoemena our friend and mentor. Thank you to everyone who made this happen!

We hope this will be the start of a thriving Climate Tech space in Indonesia and South East Asia. When nature thrives, people thrives. This event is the least that we can do to give back to all the trust and support that we have gotten so far, so we can touch more lives and show that making carbon neutral economy can be a reality.
