Last week, Paloma Sjahrir Foundation hosted our first Legal Education Class: “Trademarks & Intellectual Property”, in collaboration with Ecoxyztem and AFFA Intellectual Property Rights, to support early-stage impact startups in Indonesia.
🌱 These startups are driving impactful solutions from sustainable agriculture and responsible waste management to transforming recycled plastics into innovative Industry 4.0 solutions. Yet many still lack adequate access to legal expertise—particularly in protecting their intellectual property (IP), a critical asset to safeguard innovation and strengthen business value.
This class was designed to bridge that gap by helping founders and decision-makers recognize that IP is not just a legal requirement, but a strategic business asset that can boost competitiveness and drive long-term growth.
The enthusiasm in the room was truly inspiring, and we’re excited to continue this journey with more sessions ahead!
A big thank you to everyone who joined and supported this initiative—together, we can help build stronger and more resilient impact startups for Indonesia.
