Last Thursday (25/9), Paloma Sjahrir Foundation together with Ecoxyztem and HHP Law Firm hosted the “Legal Education Class: Capital Regulations, Legal Compliance & Business Risk Mitigation” — a pro bono initiative to support impact-driven startups offering environmental and social solutions to Indonesia.
🌍 Indonesia continues to face pressing environmental challenges — from deforestation and air pollution to the plastic waste crisis. While more companies are emerging with solutions, many still struggle to navigate the legal and compliance aspects of running their businesses.
We were honored to have Mahardikha Sardjana, Principal at HHP Law Firm, open the session with a message of support for impact-driven enterprises working on Indonesia’s pressing issues, joined by our Chairperson, Ratna Kartadjoemena, and Dicky Ahmad, COO of Ecoxyztem.
In this class, legal experts from HHP Law Firm shared insights on three key topics:
1️⃣ PMA vs PMDN: Process, Rationale, Compliance (Preti Suralaga & Kristi Tomasouw)
2️⃣ Shares & Clauses in SHA (Adhika Wiyoso & Devina Andrasanti)
3️⃣ Legal Compliance & Fraud Risk Mitigation (Reno Hirdarisvita)
The discussion was highly interactive with participants from diverse backgrounds. We hope this class helps strengthen their mission to deliver social and environmental impact for Indonesia 🇮🇩
🌱 In line with the impact-driven spirit of the session, the remaining food from the event was donated through FoodCycle Indonesia, ensuring it reached those who could benefit most.
Thank you to everyone who joined and supported this initiative. We look forward to seeing you in the next Legal Education Class!
